![]() Then about ten years ago, I got their Best of. Especially with bands I love (e.g., SntT and CB), but whose popularity and fame bubbled well below the surface.īack when Sniff got some decent airplay, (Love Action, Rodeo Drive, Poison Pen Mail, for instance), I'd enjoyed hearing the tunes, but didn't really feel compelled to get the albums. With 700-800 albums, that's a lot of time I don't have, so these online rips (as well as CDs I've bought or borrowed from friends and libraries) are a blessing. Unfortunately, it takes one to two hours to record and clean up a single LP. I'm converting my vinyl collection to digital, so I got a USB turntable. Thank you so much for the Sniff'n' the Tears and City Boy posts. It's been over a year since you posted, but I'm hoping late is better than never. In my humble opinion, Sniff'n The Tears is a band much too good to be forgotten. Please also take a close look on the cover artwork, they were all painted by the singer, Paul Roberts. But this wasn't just a one-hit-wonder, they had so much more to offer during the late 70's/early 80's. Most of you might remember this band and their great "Driver's Seat". Tonight I'd like to serve you some Sniff'n The Tears. Since I started this blog I keep thinking what kind of music people might like as I serve rare and (sometimes obscure) stuff. Hi y'all, hope you spent the last week listening to some good music as I did.
